Sellers Growing Increasingly Unhappy With Lack Of Professionalism At Etsy

I had 3 stores that were suspended by ETSY and I believe they had all the right to do, since some of my items where not all 100% handmade by me!  After reading thousands of people's whose shops where closed without any warning and THESE stores were 100% handmade, makes no sense why ETSY is is doing this to so many talented artist with successful shops!

Is there another website like

Etsy, EBay, Artfire, Dewanda. That is one question I ask myself almost everyday. Ok my etsy store was suspended because I offered some items among my handmade items, that were not 100% handmade by me, like SO MANY other stores on Etsy. Ok maybe I was the sacrifice lamb that Etsy had to sacrifice to show others. Maybe not! Since so many other 100% handmade legit are being closed down left and right.
I am confused about what it takes to be on Etsy to this day, even when u are a reseller!

I hope that someone comes up with a better version of all websites mentioned avobe, that we learned to love and now our feelings are so far from that!

Have read terrible stories from great sellers that were abused by Etsy and it is a real shame that when this companies get as powerful as they are now, can treat and even abuse their loyal members!

How many Etsy stores have been closed down by Etsy

I have read many stories online of real handmade stores being closed down or suspended like etsy calls it. It is hard to tell exactly how many stores have suffered this status. I had 3 stores of different categories and all 3 where closed down due to one not meeting the handmade criteria. I have heard heart breaking stories of real successful artists which stores have also being closed. Makes no sense as why this phenomenon is happening.
Some stores that are resellers are still open and somehow they hold the key to remain with etsy.

I invite people to post their stories and what the new journey has brought to them?

I opened my own website but it is hard since traffic is not the same, working in getting more marketing and more traffic!

Handmade Bridal & Wedding Accessories!

I have been happily married for over 17 Years and I Love Weddings! Believe in marriage 100%. Been a Realtor for many years and when the economy when for the worst, I started looking for new things to do! When I discovered ETSY I thought why not? I am very talented and I should open a store and I did. For the first months I Spun my wheels trying to come up with selling ideas. Right! Wrong! I found my self long hours in creating and taking pictures and posting new listings BUT no sales! Upon looking for companies on the net that carried rhinestone material. I came across a Fine Gorgeous store that sold Wholesale Bridal Accessories! I started to look at some of their items and OMG some of the best selling sellers on ETSY are selling items from this supplier and clamming it theirs! I thought If they are doing it I can too! SO I did I no longer wasted time in creating, I only  concentrated my time in creating new listings with the supplier information and even their pictures. My store went from selling $300 a month to $5,000. I though I am in HEAVEN and I was for a couple of months until ETSY closed down my store. I have since then opened my own online store and even managed to create GREAT Handmade (REAL HANDMADE BY ME) items that are great sellers. Now selling them on my online store. I don't know to this day why my store is the only one closed. ALL the other stores claiming to be handmade and a fraud just like me are still selling! I guess I can not cry over spoiled milk. I am continuing to move forward and after those months of success I created several designs that  are popular among the bridal world. I guess I was not all fraud, because being in the ETSY market showed me to appreciate handmade and I now run a successful online website with REAL handmade items made by me!
